How it works

SketchWe create a 3D model based on your specifications. These specs can come from a simple sketch, a detailed blueprint or a cad file. We can also create the 3D model on site.

3D modelOnce the 3D model is created we apply the materials, tile floor, granite counter top etc. We then add any objects you request appliances, furniture etc.

Final rendering
Once all the materials and objects have been added we set up the views and render your images. We then email and/or print these images so you can pass them to those reponsible for creating your project.
Why is architectural rendering important?

Are you concerned about a particular area of your new home or remodel? That it will not look or feel the way you want. We will design alternate solutions, render them in 3D, and show you the different concepts side by side. Our architectural services are very useful whether you are just starting to design your new home or remodel or are already under construction. We will develop a 3D model and photo-realistic renderings of your project. You will then be able to clearly convey your design to your architect, draftsman or design-build contractor. Since we design in professional 3D CAD software we are able to save your file in many formats so you can share your 3D model with those responsible for creating your project.

Our design Service is great for small sections of your home especially if you are having problems with a certain area. We can assist you in making difficult design desicions by refining certain areas and presenting you with different versions. We can custom match building materials and paint accents, so you can see how a area will look with different combinations.

Our photo-realistic renderings give you confidence in your design decisions and can save you a great deal of money. It is far less expensive to render area's and have the builder match the rendering. Than to tear out a area and have it rebuilt because your don't like the way it looks. Our photo-realistic renderings give you a clear and precise way to convey your design ideas to your architect, draftsman, tradesmen, and general contractor. Everyone involved in the construction of your home will be able to access your renderings so there is no doubt as to how the final product should look.

We look forward to working with you whether it be your new home, home addition, or remodel. Architects and home builders are also invited to take advantage of this very useful design service. For whatever the reason you are considering Dreamsrendered we look forward to hearing from you and discussing your project.

About

Owner - Darrin Lewis

    Darrin Lewis
    Designer / Owner

Darrin was born in Arizona but grew up in Utah. He became a drywall contractor in 1992 and worked mostly on homes in Park City, Utah, which is where he now lives.

During 1997 he invented a machine for applying drywall finish and while working on the drywall machines it became necessary to create 3D models and blueprints so machinists could create the finish product. Due to the high costs of research and development the company was eventually dissolved but his love for drawing and rendering became and stayed strong.

Darrin decided to go back into construction but this time he focused on building in general and worked for different general contractors specializing in remodels and additions. During this time his experience in 3D design proved very useful in assisting homeowners with design concerns and after assisting homeowners and builders numerous times Darrin realized the true potential of his 3D design experience. He later formed Dreamsrendered LLC which is now his main focus.
